Safety and social connections are vital for families and young children to thrive. Having trusted neighbors and other members of a community can ensure families not only feel safe but can foster foundations for children who remain connected to and engaged in their communities. Many families experience a high level of stress connected to issues like safe housing and putting food on the table, along with every day stresses of raising healthy and happy children. Yet, families also struggle with asking for help when it is needed, and building a community of individuals, organizations, and businesses at the ready to support families with a myriad of supports can help families access supports they need when they need them.
