The purpose of the Steering Committee is to set the strategic direction and policy priorities of HSCI. It is composed of 15-20 leaders with influence in their respective networks and the ability to inform and/or make systems-level decisions on behalf of their organization, community, school, family, etc. Roles and responsibilities include:
- Representing HSCI values and commitments;
- Promoting HSCI efforts and communicating its progress to their networks;
- Advocating for alignment with HSCI’s strategic direction and priorities within their organization, community, school, etc.; and
- Making high-level decisions about strategy & policy priorities.
