Vani Tangella joined the Milestones team as Project Manager for the Child Maltreatment Prevention Framework for Action - Community Planning initiative. Vani most recently worked as a Program Associate at Children and Family Futures where she provided technical assistance and support for several substance abuse and child-welfare related projects. Vani managed the Statewide System Reform Program intended to institutionalize effective Family Treatment Court practices in the larger state-level child welfare, substance use disorder treatment, and court systems to improve child, parent and family outcomes. Vani also served as the Change Leader Associate for the Prevention and Family Recovery initiative, funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and The Duke Endowment to advance the capacity of Family Treatment Courts to provide comprehensive family-centered care to families affected by substance use disorders. Vani received her Masters of Public Health from California State University, Long Beach and Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Policy from University of California, Irvine.
