Mary Cornforth Cawood

I am the Health Promotion Manager at the Mesa County Health Department. Our team oversees the work of several grant contracts including Communities that Care (CDPHE), Activating Spaces (Colorado Health Foundation), Early Head Start (Early Learning Ventures), and the Diabetes Prevention Program (CCPD). Much of our work in health promotion centers around community partnerships, particularly as the backbone agency of Healthy Mesa County, http://healthymesacounty.org/. We were recently awarded a capacity building grant for Healthy Mesa County and look forward to connecting with communities across the state as we build our experience with collective impact.
