Ashley Escobar

A second-year student at the University of Denver pursuing a Master’s in Social Work Organizational Leadership and Policy Practice. She hopes to work alongside organizations in making spaces and policies more equitable for all. Her background includes working within the human resource department in New York City, where her focus was within the DEI department. She also taught with AmeriCorps in the Bronx and the Linda Vista community in San Diego. She is passionate about change-making within communities and reorganizing the systems that have marginalized individuals for decades. Ashley received her BA in Environmental Studies and Theatre Arts and Performance Studies from the University of San Diego
