The Loretto Volunteer Program invites recent college graduates to participate in a formative year of service. Loretto Volunteers serve full-time at service- and justice-focused nonprofits and organizations in Washington, DC, St. Louis, El Paso, and New York City. And we're excited to announce that in August of 2019 we're adding Denver to our list of placement cities! In addition to their service, Loretto Volunteers live in intentional community with each other, committing to lifestyles that center our program's four core values: spirituality, simple living, social justice, and community. The Loretto Volunteer Program is a project of the Sisters of Loretto, a welcoming and inclusive Catholic order of sisters with a 200-year history of advocating for peace, women's equality and solutions to social injustices. The Loretto Volunteer Program carries Loretto values into a new generation. Administration offices are located in Denver, CO, St. Louis, MO and in rural Kentucky. Currently, there are twelve volunteers located in Washington, DC, St. Louis, MO, and El Paso, TX.
