This network is for coalition and partner members of the Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak region to enhance collaboration and community.
Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak Region partners with the Catamount Institute, City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Fountain Creek Watershed, Kids on Bikes, Mile High Youth Corps, North Cheyenne Canyon's Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center, Rocky Mountain Field Institute, Blackpackers, and YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region Camp Shady Brook. These incredible partnerships help us to host events, field trips, summer camps, and more in our community to ensure equitable access of the outdoors!
Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) created the Generation Wild movement to connect kids and families to outdoor activities. In response to GOCO's call, the Generation Wild of the Pikes Peak Region coalition was formed to encourage kids and families in Southeast Colorado, and beyond, to spend time together outside--improving overall health, and fostering a love, appreciation, and familiarity with nature and the natural beauty in the Pikes Peak Region.
Our free or significantly reduced cost programs serve the children in Southeast Colorado Springs, but are open to all children throughout the Pikes Peak Region without scholarship assistance! Want to support or sponsor a program? Give us a call at 719-471-0910 x110
