Marlena Antonucci is the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Rio Grande Farm Park in Alamosa, CO. She recently moved to Colorado from Tampa, Florida where she received a Master of Arts degree in Art History. Her graduate research focused on farming as an artistic practice. She believes that art can change perspectives toward farming from a utilitarian job to a practice that cultivates social, economic, and environmental development. When she’s not researching or writing, she enjoys hiking fourteeners with her pup, Rocco. Marlena intends to learn to speak Spanish in the next year.
